We launched 4 new tunes last week and we can’t wait to let them fly again this week. Day Tripper will be back at Boston Manor playing Beatles tunes ALL NIGHT! This will be our last performance before Christmas! Boston Manor is a great place to have supper and an evening. No attitudes, no hassles just a nice place to  shoot some pool after supper if you like, while having a some Christmas cheer and enjoy some great tunes.

Practically Hip will be back at the coolest little club in Oakville called Less Than Level. Friday Dec 12th. We start the evening about 9:30pm. It will be our 2nd to last show before Santa comes! Pencil it in on your schedule. It’s a great place to just kick back after work or shopping!

Saturday December 6th, Practically Hip is back in the Hammer at Whiskey Joe’s! The evening starts around 10:30 pm and concludes at 2:00 am. Come on out and say hi to Dean, Glen, John, Mark & meeee! Always an eventful night at the Joe’s!!!!!

This weekend Day Tripper will be back at the coolest little Pub & Patio, in Mississauga, Abbey Road. It’s the best place to take in a little bit of Britain! It has a real comfortabe, Cheers atmosphere with great food and GREAT MUSIC! Friday night (Dec 5th) we will kick the night off at about 9:00 pm with 4 new songs we have added to our song list. All the information is on their site. See you then….She Loves You ya ya ya……….

If you are looking for something to do this weekend we’ll be out of town back in Orangeville on Friday. It will be our first time back at TJ’s Hanger since the “Jewish Cleansing” (this was told to me by a Jewish friend of mine, lol) or in English, the fire. I heard that the place burned to the ground but in talking to the owner that is not the case. I am glad that no one was hurt and I will be even happier to hear the PA did not survive, LOL!

BUT ON SATURDAY, we will be in Hamilton at a new bar to us called Waltz Live Music. Come on out and party with the band! We will have Craig & Sean with us. We have never played with this lineup so it should be fun. The cover is $5 before 11pm and $7 after. If you park underground be sure to get your parking stub validated so it will only cost you $1 or, park across the street in the lot for free (if it isn’t full).

This Friday night if you are looking for Something to do, Day Tripper will Come Together again & will be at Lezley’s Chaps for the first time (Not A Second Time) playing some Rock & Roll Music. Playing you’re your early favorites like Help & She Loves You, to the later years like I Am The Walrus! The club is in Burlington. You don’t need a Ticket To Ride, Because there is no cover. It not like it’s in Kansas City or Across The Universe, it’s only in Burlington. It Won’t Be Long till Friday arrives, as it is not a Long Long Long time away, so don’t Wait, I Want You to mark it on your calendar now! If you are celebrating a Birthday or just looking for somewhere to Twist & Shout or pick up a Girl (or Boys), or just forget about the Taxman, this is the place to be! I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be a great night. Tell Me Why you would want to miss this! What’s new with Practically Hip? Glad you asked!

We are finally going to start doing some new Hip tunes and some new Non Hip tunes. Time to change things a bit. This will happen over time, but, it’s time! The list is being made!

AND . . .

We have a couple of new rooms we are now playing. The first one is “Waltz Live Music” here in Hamilton. A really nice place, something a little different. The bar is attached to Jackson Square, downtown. Should be a lot of fun as we have Craig & Sean subbing in that night on guitar. We kick things off about 10pm and there is a $5 cover before 11pm, $7 after 11pm.

Halloween! We are doing the grand opening of a new bar called “Less Than Level” in Oakville.  The doors open at 6:00pm and the band goes on at 9:30. Just a $5 cover and you are in the door for the evening! There will be prizes for best costumes. The band is talking about donating a prize for “most revealing costume on a lady” but we can’t seem to agree on a prize LOL! Guess it’s open for discussion. Don’t sit at home with your Game Boy, playing with yourself, come on out and PARTY!!!!!!
